our name is as much about our philosophy as it is about the kind of building in which we’re housed. bungalows are cozy, attractive, functional buildings — free of wasted space and dedicated to promoting a simpler pursuit of life (like less house cleaning). our main mission is to help community members model their business pursuits after this kind of simplicity.
zen is about simplicity, too, but in a different kind of way. to attain a state of zen, we must learn to perceive life directly — without filtering through our individual beliefs and preconceptions. that’s very hard to do.
